New Delhi: The National Medical Commission (NMC) has directed all medical colleges and institutions under its ambit to submit details related to Health Facility Registry (HFR) IDs and Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) linkage of their attached or associated hospitals within seven days.In a notice issued by the IT Division of NMC, the Commission mentioned that the move is aimed at leveraging technology to make the annual renewal and assessment process of medical colleges more objective and transparent.Also Read: Telangana gets NMC nod for 60 DM, MCh seats for 2025-26According to the notice, all hospitals attached or associated with medical colleges must ensure integration with the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY) portal, wherever applicable, and the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission–Hospital Management Information System (ABDM-HMIS) portal, which is maintained by the National Health Authority (NHA), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.Hence, all medical colleges/institutions under NMC are requested to log in via the NMC website and verify the respective Health Facility Registry (HFR) IDs available with NMC records. Further, medical colleges/institutions are also requested to submit the remaining HFR id(s), details of their HMIS (Health Management Information System) & its linkage status with the PM-JAY/ ABDM-HMIS portal of NHA.”In order to leverage the use of technology & make the annual

National Medical Commission (NMC); with Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya
Yojana (PM-JAY) portal (wherever applicable) & Ayushman Bharat Digital

being maintained by National Health Authority, MoHFW is to be ensured. Hence, all medical colleges/institutions under NMC are requested to
login via NMC website and verify the respective Health Facility Registry
(HFR) ids available with NMC records. Further, medical colleges/institutions
are also requested to submit remaining HFR id(s), details of their HMIS
(Health Management Information System) & its linkage status with PM-JAY/
