Dewas: A video shared by a doctor on the popular social media platform ‘X’ has recently gone viral, showing an IAS officer allegedly misbehaving with an on-duty doctor inside a government hospital in Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, over the referral of a patient with a head injury.
Sharing the video in a post, the doctor claimed that the IAS officer questioned the decision to refer a normal head injury case to a higher centre. However, the doctor clarified that the patient was suffering from a head injury with internal bleeding, which is a serious and potentially life-threatening condition.

The doctor further explained that internal bleeding in the brain cannot be treated at basic medical facilities and requires immediate care by an experienced neurosurgeon along with advanced medical equipment.
In the post, he asked, “Is this the right way to treat a doctor? Did the doctor do anything wrong by giving the patient correct medical advice and referring them for higher care?”
The following video has gained over 130,000 views and attracted several comments from doctors and the public.
A user left a comment under the post saying, “IAS officers are the most entitled section of the country. Even politicians are humble at times. IAS officers literally think they own the country because they passed some memory test exam.”
“IAS Officer studied MBBS and MD – Neurology as an optional subject, so he is right. How dare the puny doctor correct him?” another user mockingly said this.
