New Delhi: In a tragic incident reported from Andhra Pradesh, a third-year B Pharmacy student died after allegedly jumping from a hostel building following a farewell party at SIR CR Reddy College of Pharmaceutical Science in Eluru.The police has registered a case and launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.The deceased has been identified as Ch. Suvarshini, a native of Kuchipudi village under Pedavegi mandal in Eluru district. She was pursuing her third year of B Pharmacy and was staying in the college hostel at the time of the incident.According to preliminary findings, the incident occurred on Wednesday night shortly after a farewell event at the college. Soon after, she allegedly jumped from the hostel building, sustaining severe injuries in the fall.She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment; however, despite medical efforts, she succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment.Following the incident, a complaint was filed by her father, based on which the Three-Town police registered a case. Authorities have initiated a detailed investigation to ascertain the exact sequence of events and determine the reasons that led to the student taking such an extreme step.
