Cuttack: In a shocking incident, a 28-year-old physiotherapist from Morigaon was found dead in Cuttack, reportedly after falling from the balcony of his second-floor accommodation at Kavita Complex near SVNIRTAR Hospital. As per the news reports, the deceased had moved to Olatpur nearly four years ago after completing his physiotherapy studies in Assam to pursue an internship at the Swami Vivekanand National Institute of Rehabilitation Training and Research (SVNIRTAR).Also Read:Ajmer Dermatologist found dead hours after posting WhatsApp statusFollowing the completion of his internship, he continued to reside in Olatpur in a rented three-storey building and was practising physiotherapy in the locality. He was reportedly staying alone in the house, reports India Today NE.Olatpur police officials stated that the body was discovered lying on the ground around 7 am. According to a neighbour and junior colleague, the physiotherapist had returned from Assam on Wednesday evening, around 8:30 pm. The junior had met him to collect a book and found him sitting on the rear balcony.Speaking to G Plus, he added, “The junior asked him to go to bed, but he continued to remain there, after which the junior returned to his room,” the official said. “He may have fallen from the balcony. We are waiting for his family to arrive,” he added.The body has been seized and sent for post-mortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death. She mentioned that he had returned to Olatpur only the day before and that the family was now leaving for Odisha, adding that they had only sketchy details about the circumstances of his death.
