Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Prataprao Jadhav recently informed the Lok Sabha that under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana, the establishment of 22 All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and the upgradation of 75 Government Medical Colleges (GMCs) have been approved.The Minister said that the scheme includes setting up new AIIMS institutions, construction of super-speciality blocks, and strengthening infrastructure in existing Government Medical Colleges.For more details, check out the full story on the link below:
