Mancherial: A 53-year-old man died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Telangana’s Mancherial, with his family members alleging negligence by the doctors.  According to the police, the patient passed away due to cardiac arrest at Arogya Multispecialty Hospital. He had been admitted on January 10 with an infection in his right leg, which later required amputation. He was also suffering from anaemia and multiple other health complications, making his condition critical.   Also Read:Family alleges negligence at Dhubri Medical College Hospital, video sparks outrageThe Family members, however, accused the doctors of negligence, claiming that the patient did not receive proper care during treatment. The patient’s son lodged a complaint with the police, following which a case was registered against the doctors of the hospital. An investigation has been taken up, reports the Telangana Today.     The Mancherial incident is not an isolated case. Across the country, there have been multiple reports of patients suffering due to alleged medical negligence and unethical practices in private hospitals, highlighting the urgent need for stricter accountability in healthcare services. As per the news reports, the deceased had suffered an accident nearly two months ago and was initially admitted to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). Doctors at GMCH reportedly diagnosed him with a serious head injury and advised that he be referred to Patna for advanced treatment.
