According to the National Medical Commission’s data, a total of 48,563 MBBS and 29,080 postgraduate medical seats increased in the country from the Academic Year 2020-2021 to 2025-2026, the Union Minister of State for Health, Smt Anupriya Patel informed the Rajya Sabha recently.
