In the context of changing climate conditions and rising pollution, Indian traditional medicine is gaining global recognition. The sanction of an AYUSH hospital for Tenali is a matter of pride.”  The new hospital will be constructed within the 120-year-old Government Hospital premises, adjacent to the existing Urban Health Primary Centre. Noting that the old structure is in a dilapidated condition, the government decided to utilise the site to provide improved healthcare services to the public.  The proposed hospital will feature a dedicated outpatient department, 50 inpatient beds, and modern laboratory facilities. In addition, authorities are exploring the possibility of establishing a nursing college on the campus to meet future healthcare requirements.  This initiative reflects the government’s broader effort to strengthen traditional medicine infrastructure.   Also Read:MP Govt to set up 50-bed AYUSH hospitals in 12 districtsMedical Dialogues had previously reported that the Madhya Pradesh government has approved the establishment of 50-bed AYUSH hospitals in 12 districts and sanctioned 373 posts and 806 human resource services to ensure the smooth functioning of these institutions.
